Logan Maxwell, the fearless hero of our game, heard about an adventure deep in the South of Africa (red desert). He set off on his journey without the faintest idea what was in store for him. Just luck and perseverance lead him to the fifty legendary caverns of a nearly extinct and forgotten culture. After studying long and hard, he found the secret to the thousand year old puzzle, AVIAN BOULDERS CALL OF THE RED DESERT. Over thousands of years, people just like our hero had tried without luck to figure the puzzles out, but were themselves trapped by their own greed. Hundreds of these unlucky robbers, with their pockets full of diamonds, wait in prey of a new robber. The red worms were set to work as guards, which now circle the caverns with the robbers in the hope of catching someone like Logan. In most caverns there is a green slime that starts to multiply as soon as you enter. For Logan Maxwell the slime isn't dangerous, but for the robbers and guards is deadly. When a robber comes in contact with the slime, he dies letting all of his diamonds fall to the floor. The red worms destroy everything around them, it doesn't matter if it's Logan, a stone, a wall, a diamond or a robber. Closing the slime off from multiplying with stones or diamonds will change the slime into a sea of diamonds, but be careful that it doesn't reach over 200 particles, then the slime changes into a deadly avalanche of boulders. In some of the caverns are bushs, in which Logan has to make paths or large areas free for the robbers and guards to move around so that they come in contact with the slime, or set traps with boulders or diamonds to kill the robbers or guards. Killing a robber or guard can also open up walls! Runs under Windows 98/2000/ME/NT and XP wirh Direct X 5.0. More information can be found at http://www.AvianSoft.de
