River Past Talkative is a easy-to-use text-to-speech software. It speaks text or record the text to audio files, including MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG Vorbis, or audio-only AVI format.

It uses a text editor interface so it is easy to learn and use. It supports plain text and RTF files as input, or copy the text from the clipboard. The interface contains simple and readily accessible controls for voice, speaking speed, and volume.

For MP3, WAV, OGG, and AVI output, you have full control over audio codec, sample rate, channel, bits per sample, and bitrate settings. For WMA output, you can choose from a list of Windows Media profiles. Extremely fast and reliable. Useful for proofreading your own writing, or use it to listen to news, emails, articles and web pages.




With River Past MPEG-4 Booster Pack, you can output to M4A (MPEG-4 AAC audio), the format used by iTune and iPod.
