TxtEdit is an editor for text or Rich text files. It includes a spell checker. TxtEdit contains a "send to" - feature, which is useful to have a quick view on many different file formats. Start the Explorer, right click any file, and choose TxtEdit under send to! A task bar allows to switch quickly from one document to another. You may use TxtEdit as Editor for your HTML, Perl or PHP files. You can insert tags with one click taken from a freely customisable list. You can edit columns. A multiple clip board is available. Sort lines, join lines and more functions available. For rich text files, many formatting possibilities and inserting pictures are supported. Unicode is supported. Other character sets using 8 bit encoding (ANSI) are supported as well. You may choose the language, you want to open or save a text file for. Jump to any line with one click. You can open an active document with any other application by one button click! A page preview is provided. You can switch the interface between English and German. More languages are supported.
