The Web Update Wizard lets you add 'update over the web' functionality to your applications with just a single line of code. You simply upload your revised software files, together with a simple script, to your web server. No server-side processing is needed, so this solution works with any server or ISP. The Web Update Wizard is a single, one-off, non-recurrent cost - there are no ongoing fees or additional costs. The Web Update Wizard is also fully compatible with Windows Vista!
Your application calls a DLL, which handles all subsequent communications with the server and launches any subsequent processes needed to complete the update.
Add Automatic Software Updates to your application with a single line of code

Each time one of your users or customers runs your software, the Web Update Wizard will automatically check (providing the user is on line or connected to the network) whether any updates are available and download / install them as required. You can control whether the updates happen automatically or if your users should be prompted whether they would like to update their software.
As part of the update process your script can launch processes on the user's machine, post messages to the user during the process, replace in-use files via a reboot and even submit confirmation back to the software developer that an update was successfully processed. The Web Update Wizard operates as a Windows Service application - updates can therefore be deployed using the SYSTEM security context and do not require the user to have Administrator privileges.
The Web Update Wizard works with any ISP (Internet Service Provider) – you do not need your own web server. No processing whatever takes place on the web server (other than standard http requests!). Web Update Wizard works with any development enviroment capable of making Windows DLL calls
